RICHMOND — The Virginia Professional Fire Fighters (VPFF) announce their endorsement of Mark Herring for reelection as Virginia’s Attorney General. With over 7000 members in 65 locals across the Commonwealth, VPFF’s firefighters and emergency medical service professionals are backing Attorney General Herring because of his focus on keeping Virginians and their families safe, and building safer and stronger communities throughout the Commonwealth.
“Throughout his career in public service, Attorney General Herring has always had the backs of Virginia’s firefighters and public safety professionals,” said Robert L. Bragg, President of Virginia Professional Fire Fighters. “Attorney General Herring has built strong partnerships with the men and women on the front lines who work hard every single day to protect Virginians and keep our communities safe. Attorney General Herring has shown leadership in tackling Virginia’s toughest public safety challenges, and we look forward to continuing to work together with him during his next term.”

Attorney General Herring has also earned the endorsement of 43 sheriffs, including 11 who endorsed his Republican opponent in 2013.
